The Head Office System

Point Four Head Office is a Windows-based system that enables total control from Head Office of all product information, pricing, loyalty and promotions at remote stores. Sales and stock information is collected by Head Office on a daily basis, or as frequently as required, to enable the system to produce powerful and relevant reports and to carry out effective management of information for all stores across the organisation.

The Head Office system can be configured to link to many of the major convenience wholesalers, enabling electronic download of all the latest product and pricing information, as well as electronic ordering.

Point Four Head Office also features a range of additional options which will help you to run your business in the way you want in order to increase control, efficiency and therefore profits.

Branch Banding

Branches can be banded together to enable changes to be applied to multiple branches simultaneously. Bands can be created on the basis of suppliers’ pricing policy, location of sites, etc. Alternatively, changes can simply be applied to all branches simultaneously or to single branches. Branches can be in more than one band, e.g. one for supplier, one for pricing. Reports can be consolidated for a selected band of branches, for all branches or for individual branches.

Pricing Rules

Prices can be controlled by automatic rounding up or down using your own rules.

Price points can be entered. The system then gives a warning if a price point is crossed, giving you the opportunity to closely monitor pricing to ensure it remains in keeping with your individual policy.

Premium pricing can be implemented on selected ranges for specified stores or across all stores.

The system can be configured to maintain margins automatically. When used in conjunction with automatic rounding and/or price points this means your margins and profitability are being constantly monitored, with a view to tracking, while remaining conscious of your pricing strategy within the market place.
