Point Four Achieve Blanket Sign-Off With Streamline

In November 2004 Point Four became one of the first EPoS providers to achieve blanket sign-off with Streamline. This means that any Point Four customer who uses Streamline via CommsXL software through the CommsXL Bureau with the Verifone SC5000 PIN pad can have Chip and PIN installed at their store without further testing.

We recently installed our first Chip and PIN test site at Budgens in Northampton which has now been running successfully for several weeks. The second site at Spar in Croxley Green has also been successfully installed. Following discussions with Mastercard, Streamline have agreed to a blanket sign-off for the Point Four solution. This enables us to go ahead and install - without further testing - all of our Streamline users who have placed orders for Chip and PIN.
